Child of the World

Child of the World is an action adventure set in Bangkok Chiang Mai and the northern hilltribe villages of Thailand. A hapless professor joins an animal relocation project but soon discovers through his whimsical mentor and a blonde Swedish Quaker that the true project is to hamper the trade in hilltribe children being brought down to service the city brothels. Along the way he encounters a Bengali game warden of suspicious identity and an attractive local prostitute who he finds is not simply that and who becomes much more than that to him. The true game is more politically convoluted and more personally perilous than he ever imagined.
