Child Protection: Significance and Enormity

The book ''Child Protection: Significance and Enormity key objective is to suggest and give recommendations to prevent conditions that lead to criminality by creating an environment conducive to crime prevention mobilizing resources for rehabilitation and motivating children and parents toward education in a child-friendly manner. Education encompassing knowledge skills and moral development shapes behavior and opportunities in life. It enhances social conduct technical competency and global understanding influencing how individuals view themselves and society. In criminology education is seen as a positive force reducing the likelihood of criminal or antisocial behavior by improving quality of life thereby fostering personal growth responsibility and better life outcomes. Dr. Jyotsna Rajvanshi has served as an Associate Professor Project Director for Child Line and Senior Research Fellow in Jaipur. As the first Child Protection Consultant at UNICEF Rajasthan she contributed significantly to child welfare and was nominated as a member of the Rajasthan State Child Protection Commission in its first term. She has assisted the Government in framing child protection policies conducted research projects and organized trainings and workshops with police judiciary and government bodies.
