Childhood Obesity and Cardiovascular Diseases

Obesity prevalence has increased worldwide and it draws attention due to the negative consequences of obesity that can start early at childhood. Several cardiovascular abnormalities have been observed among obese children. This comprehensive literature review is discussing the major concerns when linking childhood obesity to future cardiovascular diseases including defining obesity early cardiac abnormalities the subclinical atherosclerosis state lipoproteins abnormalities and inflammation.
