CHLOE VEGA AND THE AGENTS OF MAGIC

Twelve-year-old Chloe Vega did everything she could to prevent her undocumented parents from being detained. She kept them away from the border memorized the immigration lawyer’s number and didn’t tell anyone about their legal status. But then they're captured by an immigration officer. Only it turns out he's a sorcerer in disguise and he’s seeking a powerful gem that her parents stole from him years before.<br /><br />Suddenly Chloe is taken in by the Magical Enforcement Agency a magical resistance set on stopping the sorcerer from using the gem to unveil the magical world. After discovering that her parents had been involved in the resistance Chloe jumps at the opportunity to join their ranks. She’s certain that enrolling at their academy will lead her to Mamá and Papá-as soon as she can get used to the idea of not only having magical abilities but being descended from two of the top Magical Enforcers the resistance has ever had.<br /><br />But when Chloe learns that the Magical Enforcers would rather sacrifice her parents than lose the gem she starts questioning who the real villain is. With the help of newfound friends at the academy she's got to figure out who to trust and fast or she'll never see her parents again.
