CHLORINATING AGENTS IN SWIMMING POOLS

In the present research to study on environmental aspect performance evaluation and effectiveness of chlorinating agents in swimming pools and water parks fifteen swimming pools and water parks have been selected in and around Nagpur based on the certain criteria. The study is carried out by using traditionally used chlorinating agents like chlorine gas liquid chlorine and bleaching powder and replacing them by TCCA. After carrying out number of experiments based on the selected parameter (FAC breakpoint chlorination) it has been concluded that TCCA is more effective sanitizer than the other traditionally used ones.
