About The Book

Choice Aphorisms from the Seven Segments of Cardan is actually a work authored by the renowned Italian Renaissance polymath Gerolamo Cardano (1501-1576) also known as Girolamo Cardano or Jerome Cardan. Cardano was a mathematician physician astrologer and philosopher who made significant contributions to various fields including mathematics and astrology. The full title of Cardanos work is Choice Aphorisms from the Seven Books of Jerome Cardan concerning Medical and Political Knowledge Faith and Experience. In this work Cardano presents a collection of aphorisms which are concise and profound statements that express his wisdom knowledge and insights on various subjects including medicine politics faith and human experience. William Lilly (1602-1681) on the other hand was an English astrologer and author as mentioned in the previous response. While Lilly was well-known for his expertise in astrology he was not the author of Choice Aphorisms from the Seven Segments of Cardan.
