Christ and the Marginalized: Bringing Refuge to the Broken

Have you ever lost something or someone of infinite value to you? Have you ever been wounded in a profound way? You are not alone. The majority of us will confront times when we feel lost vulnerable and in need of a helping hand: someone who will stretch out their hand and say Rise up! Yet not everyone will have access to a trained professional or the financial resources to access those services--and this is especially the case for the poor and downtrodden in our world today.
