The objective of this course completion paper was to conduct an in-depth study of the text of Colossians 1.16 through a biblical exegesis in order to present Jesus Christ as the creator of all things in heaven and on earth the visible and the invisible. For this the methodology used was the bibliographic based on the ideas of other authors who have discussed the subject as well as through research investigations in books internet and mainly through the Holy Scriptures. It was used the text in its original language and in several versions in Portuguese being carried out manuscriptological morphological syntactic and lexicographic analysis of the text. Theological commentaries applicable to daily life were also performed. Finally it is concluded that the analyzed text reinforces the clear biblical teaching that Jesus Christ is the only Creator of all things that exist in heaven and earth whether visible or invisible and therefore to Him belong all praise and worship.
