Christian Pirate

I have always wanted to write children''s books but I had never found the right moment until the idea for The Christian Pirate popped into my head.I had only just moved into a new community and my family were invited to a local church. The church volunteers had organised a children''s activity and dressed the children in pirates outfits. It was in that moment whilst watching the children embracing their roles that i thought could there have ever been a Christian pirate?I also recognised that children need to be introduced to Jesus Christ in a subtle way and what better than to create a character that you would never consider to be a hero but you could root for and in doing so learn so much.It all seemed to make sense and I just hope it will make sense to all that choose to read this book.
