Christmas Angels

<p>The only life nine-year-old Anna Ghere had ever known was being part of a big family in a small town. The Christmas holidays were especially joyous in the Ghere household. But as the Great Depression deepened the spirit of lack and trepidation began taking its toll on her farming community in north-central Indiana. Despite the darkening mood of those around her Anna looked forward to celebrating the upcoming Christmas as a family one glorious day without a care in the world.</p><p> </p><p>Just as the first signs of the season began tickling her imagination Anna watched in anguish as her beloved father walk away from their home her mother seemingly indifferent to the family's loss. Did the secret she'd kept from her parents for far too long cause the ultimate break in their already fragile marriage?</p><p> </p><p>As the child searched for a way to right her wrong tenuous financial circumstances quickly befell the family in her father's absence. Then a random act of kindness brought an extraordinary woman into her life sparking an incredible series of miracles that touched the entire town. Amidst the miracles that occurred during the Christmas season of 1933 Annie had only one prayer...that the angels would reignite the embers of love between her parents and bring her family back together again...forever.</p>
