<p>Christmas Is A 'Coming gives the reader a peek through the misty window of memory into my family's past the way we were in the 1950's and how we celebrated Christmas.  It is surely a mirror of the times and lives of many other families as well.</p><p></p><p>In those days Christmas time was a magical season when children's stockings might hold an orange and walnuts in their shells.  Or perhaps you received the little homespun box of Whitman's sampler chocolates.  Maybe a tin of chocolate straws or possibly red anise flavored candies found its way to your stash.  If you were really lucky there would be a box of chocolate covered cherry cordials or ribbon candy with your gifts. Whatever it was however you celebrated I hope my stories will help you recall those Christmases past that were filled with suspense anticipation hope promise and love.</p>
