<p><strong>Christmas in Mooselick River is all tinsel twinkle lights...and murder.</strong></p><p>After the year she's had Everly Dupree is ready for the holiday season-baking cookies trimming the tree guzzling eggnog and indulging in one of her favorite traditions: the town's annual Christmas lighting contest.</p><p>But murder never takes a holiday and in Mooselick River even <em>Christmas </em>comes with a body count. As displays are sabotaged old grudges resurface and bitter rivalries boil over it's starting to look like the lighting contest is about more than just dazzling decorations.</p><p>Then tenacious journalist Amber Hale turns up strangled with a string of Christmas lights her corpse staged like a macabre holiday display-and her ghost becomes Everly's newest problem.</p><p>The more she learns the clearer it seems that Amber wasn't just chasing a headline. She was running from something-and if Everly isn't careful she'll become the next holiday tragedy Mooselick River has to sweep under the snow.</p>
