On Christmas Eve Tim meets a kind old woman who gives him a new coat and a warm meal and helps him discover the true meaning of Christmas.</p><p>Another popular Christmas story by Farjeon is The Last of the Giants which tells the story of a giant who befriends a little girl and discovers the true meaning of Christmas through her kindness and generosity.</p><p>Farjeon's Christmas stories are beloved by readers of all ages and continue to be enjoyed today for their timeless themes of love kindness and the spirit of the holiday season.</p>
