What motivated me to write When I was in Primary Three our teacher asked us to write about our holiday in December. I did not go anywhere or did anything because I only stayed at home helping my mother to peel ? bean sprouts. ? But while I was doing so my mind was making up a story about visiting my Grandmother in Malacca and eating mangosteens in her garden and I let mangosteen sap run down my dress. The teacher liked the story and read it out to the class. The girls liked it too. Soo I told myself I can write stories and make people happy.
