Chronic hepatitis B

The evaluation of hepatic fibrosis relies on liver biopsy with histological study that allows stratifying the indication of antiviral treatment. Given the hemorrhagic and infectious risk of liver biopsy in addition to its numerous contraindications we studied the performance of non-invasive biological scores in the prediction of liver fibrosis. APRI FIB4 GPR and AAR scores were the most used. We propose the use of non-invasive scores that are more accurate and economical in predicting liver fibrosis at different thresholds.
