CHRONICLE OF AN ELECTORAL YEAR 2023 IN THE DRC

As we have just shown in this book 2023 was essentially an electoral year for the Democratic Republic of Congo with the end of the first term of office of President Felix Antoine TSHISEKEDI TSHILOMBO candidate for his own succession. The realization of this democratic and electoral wish was not easy because the electoral process was fraught with many constraints: security financial material and logistical.Yes the impossible is not Congolese because Simon KIMBANGU who had made prophecies for the Democratic Republic of Congo finally held the elections within the constitutional deadline despite all the constraints in peace throughout the country except in North Kivu because of the rebellion and Kuamouth in the greater Bandundu because of attacks by MOBONDO militiamen. All international opinion has noted the effective holding of the elections despite all the imperfections observed.
