Chronicles of the First Planters of the Colony of Massachusetts Bay from 1623 to 1636

This volume is based entirely on original sources. Altogether the collection comprises twenty-four chapters or documents each heavily footnoted with illuminating character sketches broadsides and correctives which supply the reader with hundreds of obscure facts and threads relating to the original planters of the Colony. Most are creditable histories with accompanying lists of early planters biographical sketches and topical references to contemporary family members.
