Chronosubcultures as a reflexion of the past

The monograph is devoted to current problems of perception of the historical past and represents a new level in the structure of Russian historical consciousness - chronosubculture. Chronosubcultures include youth subcultures of romantic escapist type whose activities are aimed at understanding and modeling cultural patterns of the historical past or its stylizations (reconstructors bearded Indianists role players fantasists tolkienists etc.) Chronosubcultures are a buffer between the mass and art - image block in the structure of historical consciousness. Role-playing and artistic creativity is one of the components of the integral artistic and aesthetic system of chronosubcultures and the main tools for constructing the space of historical past.
