Chu Ci Communication Studies Special Topics I

Chu Ci (楚辞) is the first anthology of romantic poetry by Qu Yuan and other poets in China. This book is the product of the project entitled “Research on the Cross-Cultural Dissemination of Chu Ci”. It deals with the translation strategies and methods for cultural images the translation quality the variational translation methods and the mutations of Qu Yuan’s (屈原) image in several English translations of the classic from the perspectives of Cultural Translation Theory Retranslation Theories Variational Translation Theory and Literary Imagology.
