Cinderella with Wrong Shoes: Poems by a Young Woman with Autism

The main struggle for people with autism center around communication. The author of this book was classified as being learning disabled with a speech impediment for most of her academic life because of her difficulty with verbally communicating her thoughts. This book of poetry came about after the author suffered a major depressive episode and found that she was able to write out her thoughts dreams and desires better than she could speak them. The authors mother assisted her with compiling her thoughts into a themed and published collection. This book is a product of the love and devotion between a mother and daughter.
