Cities Burn and People Die

<p>When a sudden unprecedented event causes a heavy rain of countless</p><p>giant leeches across the small globe a group of heroes come together</p><p>to summon an obscure ancient deity to bestow his powers upon them</p><p>so they can save the world. Despite the success of the summoning the</p><p>Sentinels of Anathema lose millions of lives. The deity Anathema</p><p>relays how the remaining humans can live blissfully without damaging</p><p>and angering the world again.</p><p>So the Sentinels of Anathema build 35 cities and surround each</p><p>with tall curtain walls as barriers between nature and man and the</p><p>remaining humans live in the cities under their authority to ensure</p><p>there are no mishaps. One night one of the cities is attacked and</p><p>burned to the ground by a mysterious being akin to the Sentinels who</p><p>believes the Sentinels of Anathema are evil and seeks to slaughter all</p><p>of them and all of their people.</p><p>He films himself committing the holocaust and leaves the film</p><p>in one of the Sentinels' cities so they find it. The Sentinels keep</p><p>this attack under wraps and send The Jackal after the mass</p><p>murderer but this only leads to him planting information in The</p><p>Jackal's mind in an attempt to pit the Sentinels against each other.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p></p>
