Generally this pest occurs throughout year and there is a close relationshipexists between the biotic-abiotic factors and the new flush for the occurrence of the pest. Biology of the pest also help in designing management strategy and also developing the prediction model. Commonly used pesticides are not able to manage the infestation of leaf minor in nursery and field. Therefore it is very important to test different new chemical pesticides and biopesticides against citrus leaf miner. In view of the aforesaid considerations the present investigations were undertaken.
