<p>Kennedy Helland is starting her senior year of high school in a small town in eastern Montana. However what should be the start of a new beginning for her is tainted by the death of her older sister Jess nearly two years prior during her own senior year. Grappling with the loss of a sister and a teammate Kennedy is left picking up the pieces of relationships she has with not only those in her life but the sport the two shared a passion for: basketball.</p><p><br></p><p>Following Kennedy and others from her hometown of Hysham Class C tells the complicated story of growing up in a small town carving your own path and the impact that sports have on the lives of those that live in rural America.</p>
