Socorro New Mexico. 17 June 1945: a month before the testing of the first atomic bomb. America is at war with Japan abroad and still reeling from the attack on Pearl Harbour at home.<br/><br/>The great American scientist Richard Feynman makes a right turn out of Albuquerque and ends up in a hotel room in the middle of the desert.
