CLIMATE ACTION : Climate Change and its implications in Tamil Nadu

<p>The faculty members of the Department of Geography Tourism and Travel Management have shared the current concerns regarding the sustainable development goal on climate action concerning the world and Tamil Nadu in particular. This book offers a thorough analysis of climate change following its genesis from the evolution of Earth and the chronicles of life on our planet to its present-day expressions. It discusses the reasons signs and many hypotheses related to climate change and highlights the groups working to address this worldwide problem. It also provides a thorough examination of the natural catastrophes that affect Tamil Nadu including their effects on infrastructure livelihoods biodiversity and the legal issues and adaptation plans that are related to these occurrences. It also covers climate finance prospects and constraints the policy for carbon credits.</p><p>This book publication is an initiative of the Deanery of Research and Development at Madras Christian College demonstrating the college&rsquo;s commitment to fostering academic scholarship and in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)</p>
