<p>Over the last 100 years large quantities of man-made greenhouse gases have been put into the atmosphere which will cause significant long-term change that we need to adapt and adjust to. In his light it is important for development practitioners to understand these changes so they can invest in ensuring that poverty is reduced or eliminated and that the chances of vulnerable communities are improved.
