Climate conditions may affect tourism demand directly influencing destination choice and the possibility of repeat visits as well as indirectly by influencing the quality of the experience formulating negative perceptions and uncertainty about a destination's attractiveness. It discussed the major issues in the region of DOT in MIMAROPA which are non-prioritization of the tourism industry by Local Chief Executive; Absence of Permanent City/Municipal Tourism Officer; Poor tourism data collection; Absence of Local Tourism Development Plan (LTDP); Low ratio of DOT Accredited establishments and frontlines; and Non-compliance with environmental regulations.
