Climate Change in India: Threats Challenges and Opportunities

In 2009 Col Muthanna initiated a proposal to mitigate climate change in the Himalayas and the contiguous Mekong region. He has proposed a regional cooperation named HIMEK alliance comprising 11 countries with emphasis on drastic reduction of short life climate forcers and forest land restoration. This is an extremely important initiative.
