If you climb aboard the poet's bus he will take you on a conducted tour through a variety of human experience startling and striking with vivid scenes of our modern age. It is so refreshing to find a poet that actually uses rhyme-and uses it effectively. 'Brickwork' has a solid construction with a deep resonance of meaning-and the tall 'slim' construction of 'City of Glass' (with its short concise lines) seems to reflect the transparent glass skyscrapers that it describes!
