Clinical biological and etiological aspects of hypothyroidism mali

Aim: to study the clinical biological and etiological aspects of hypothyroidism. Methodology: Retrospective study from September 2011 to April 2014 on 47 patients seen in consultation and hospitalization. Results: the frequency of hypothyroidism was 7.38% (n = 637) and the prevalence was 2.07% (n = 2265) with a sex ratio of 0.11. The peak frequency was noted in subjects over 40 years of age with 46.80%. The functional signs found were: headache (17%) physical asthenia (8.5%) psychomotor slowdown (4.3%) hearing loss (4.3%) constipation (4.3%) chilliness (3.1 %) hypersomnia (4.3%) muscle cramps (2.1%).
