This book was born from the need to unify terminology in speech therapy especially in the area of voice where different professionals (such as singing teachers doctors actors and speech therapists) converge each with their own technical language inherited or based on outdated literature. The lack of consensus hinders interdisciplinary communication affecting diagnosis treatment and research.
