Clinical Practice In Post Covid World

It took 40 years for me to encompass the intricacies of the medical profession its connections to all the social issues around us including the environment and politics. I am sharing the wisdom that I gained for the benefit of the next generation- to transform medical education and medical practice in the post-covid world. Let this book turn out to be a guide reminder and inspiration to the next generation doctors to prevent them from abandoning primary care prematurely and ending up as immature and impulsive ‘specialists’. The truth is that one cannot be a good specialist unless he/she had once been a good general practitioner/general physician or a good primary care doctor for some time. The people who were renowned as good specialists had in fact worked for long periods as generalist doctors or they had voluntarily nurtured their generalist outlook along with specialisation which is a difficult task these days. Modern medicine’s main hurdle now is the ready-made fast cooked specialists especially in the developing countries where there is no organised primary care.
