Clinical toxicology

Toxicology is the science devoted to the study of toxic substances.its study is vital in human pharmaceutical and veterinary medicine especially since the living organism is exposed to a variety of poisons of different natures.This course is primarily aimed at students at university institutions in human pharmaceutical and veterinary medicine. It is therefore geared towards what a doctor pharmacist pharmacy technician pharmacy assistant or nurse needs to know or understand about fundamental technical and experimental concepts in the field of toxicology. The reader will soon realize however that this is not a simple aide-memoire. It has a much broader ambition namely to serve as a reference for students throughout their course of study and why not beyond. Any successful education or apprenticeship involves structuring (even if this is followed by rejection as personality events or knowledge evolve). But as with everything nothing is possible in toxicology without this initial structuring.
