Allen Hynek (who was Richard's science mentor in grade school) with Paul Hynek his son and there is a guided meditation where Paul access his father and hears the same information that his father gives via a medium (Jennifer Shaffer from the Hacking the Afterlife podcast). There are interviews in the book with different types of aliens - beings that appear on people's Divine Councils as well as a grey alien who reports that he is a manufactured being created by AI. When asked why they are gathering genetic material from people during abductions he suggests It's like donating blood to the Red Cross. The people who are visited by us to gather genetic material agreed to this process before they incarnated on earth.
