Closer to God Word by Word Line by Line Poem by Poem

The poems in this book are given to you in the order written. They depict my journey as I became a believer in Jesus Christ. I sincerely hope you will come to the conclusion I have that I received these words as a gift from God. God I believe gave me this gift so that I could no longer deny His existence. This gift was my salvation! It is my hope that others will read these words and become believers themselves or strengthen the faith they already have. About the Author: Vernon Kadell was born in Hillsboro Oregon in 1953 but did not receive his faith until 2010 when he began attending a neighborhood Evangelical Christian church. Shortly after Vernon began attending this church he began receiving the Word through his gift of poetry from the Lord. Vernon has continuously grown in his faith still attending that same church. Vernon reads his poems during the services nearly every week.
