Co-Compounds vs. Coordinate Compounds

Co-compounds and coordinate compounds are two macro-types of coordinating compounds. In fact we speak of complex concepts of two lexemes that have been combined by the process of word formation. The interesting phenomenon about these two coordinating compounds is the difference in the meaning of the cojoining parts. This book does not only deal with the formation of the two types of coordinating compounds but also takes a functional and semantic analysis into account.
