Coach of the Building

<p>Coach of the Building chronicles the career of Richard Carty an educator in Pennsylvania whose three decades in education included coaching serving as a school disciplinarian planning and facilitating the opening of a new high school and later transitioning into the elementary school level during the onslaught of the No Child Left Behind Act. Amid rapid population growth and technological progress Carty successfully established a community empowering students to create a respectable new culture. </p><p>To commemorate the twenty-fifth anniversary of East Stroudsburg Area Senior High School North's opening this book celebrates the career of its first principal with many rare and previously unpublished artifacts from Carty's tenure as principal. Drawing from interviews with former colleagues alumni and parents this book provides a portrait of leadership effective communication and innovation. </p>
