Cobalt Chronicles

<p>Cobalt Chronicles is an historical fiction novel that demonstrates the rigors of  survival in the forced labor camps of the Katanga Province in the Congo. Esynama the protagonist is dragged into the mining camps by her father to mine cobalt. Destined to a life of servitude and hard labor Esy with her mother's blessing challenges this foregone conclusion. </p><p>Esy is motivated by her mother's value of education. At every turn the chances of gaining an education disappear out of reach. But she survives the lechery of a predator the jealously of a scorned wife and a brutal attacvk that brings her to the brink of death. She is challenged but her resilience slices away the adversity to find better days for her son Mwezi who is her legacy.</p><p> </p>
