Coffee stirred with milk is a lively collection of poems exploring interracial relationships family motherhood domestic abuse death and dating. The collection is topped and tailed by significant relationships and ends on what I hope to be a long-lasting love.After escaping an abusive relationship and finding myself alone in London with a young child I really struggled to fit in or find a sense of belonging. Writing helped me to survive. Now that I have found my feet I would like to share my sense of humour bring comfort to others who may also be struggling and provide a fresh perspective on life in the modern world through my poems.
