Oh and a bit of romance too! The hero wakes from a cryogenic sleep and has to determine why he was incarcerated and how to ameliorate the terrifying results of his partner's dastardly deeds. The book is deliberately shorter than many published recently. The author wanted to make it accessible to seasoned readers and to readers daunted by the prospect of getting through a thick novel.
