Collected Poems

Published in the summer of 2024 this collection brings together 163 poems written by Alexander Palache Gutterman. The majority of these poems were written between the years of 2006 and 2017. Together they represent only a small fraction of the poet's complete works.Alexander P. Gutterman was born in 1964 in New York City. He graduated from Stuyvesant High School earned a philosophy degree from Dartmouth and later attended the University of California Davis where he obtained a master's degree in philosophy. After intervals in California and New England he lived in Minnesota for eleven years. During this time he earned a master's degree in counseling psychology.In 2021 he moved to Colorado where he now works as a therapist. Between 2013 and 2021 he wrote directed and produced several film projects including the features In Winter and The Hunter. Alex continues to be actively engaged in the arts primarily in poetry and film.
