Collection Efficiency of Wire Duct Electrostatic Precipitator

About The Book

The book presents a study of collection efficiency of toxic particles emitted from industrial plants used fossil fuel a electrostatic precipitator(ESP) in the Babylon Cement plant in Iraq used as a sample to calculate the collection efficiency based on Finite Difference Method and FORTRAN program to solve governing equations (Poisson and current continuity). Geometrical and operations parameters of (ESB Babylon cement plant) are used as input data in program. V-I characteristic is a promising rule in calculating ESP efficiency and also potential distributions and electric field intensity are important factors for estimating the charging toxic particles in order to precipitate it the program can be used as a tool for diagnostic and maintenance any industrial ESP.
