Collegiate management and governance in state public administration

The aim of this paper is to analyse how the new management processes instruments and arenas of the Minas Gerais State Government have been constituted since 2015 focusing on the central governance bodies. We characterised and analysed the Central Governance Bodies created since 2015 the Planning and Strategic Management Collegiate (CPGE) and the Budget and Finance Chamber (COF) as well as the one that recently preceded them the General Coordination Planning Management and Finance Chamber (CCGPGF). This is a qualitative descriptive case study in which documentary analyses and semi-structured interviews were carried out with members of the CPGE and COF as well as technicians from the Executive Secretariat of the COF and CPGE and the former CCGPGF.
