Color Symbols

This research shows the importance of checking the symbolism of color what each color represents its influence in generating a positive or negative reaction in children the way in which it can represent joy passion among other emotions. This verification is achieved through a coloring book and visual perception in children. Based on Goethe''s Color Theory which gives a subjective meaning to colors and relates them to the human mind giving them a personality and associating them to human behavior through their proposal of the six-color diagram the authors demonstrate the importance of the use of color in graphic pieces for the development of children''s visual perception and how this contributes to a better understanding of their emotions. The images and colour we are exposed to every day have a significance marked by the perception maturity cognitive process society and culture of individuals.
