Colors

Colors is an artistic expression of Dr. Vasiloff 's love of life andthe people who he has encountered and worked with during hislong medical and teaching career. An optimistic man who looks forthe good in others he artfully expresses the emotional impacts ofpatients students and the thousands of others he has known in hispersonal life. Much of life is suffering and he has seen much withhis own eyes. But he has also seen courage gratefulness and theremarkable ability of people to persevere and overcome the slingsand arrows common to the human experience. While some of theseexperiences can be expressed in objective prose Dr. Vasiloff's deepestfeelings and discovered meanings are better expressed obliquely inpoetry art and song. That is what this book is all about: an effortof a caring physician and teacher to convey to others the incrediblecolors of human life he has been privy to witness in his life and career.
