About The Book

Though this is an eclectic first collection of poetry it began as an attempt to deal with a place in life mostly neglected in literature that affliction known affectionately as mid-life. The excitement and immortality of youth is ended and the often melancholy reflections of the golden years have not yet begun. Pressure and stress from jobs changing family situations and changes in body chemistry combine to make these years significant emotionally psychologically physically and spiritually. In Colors I seek to witness for those of us who still remember the wonder of childhood and adolescence while being called old by our childrens and their childrens generations. Colors is truly a poetic palette set out to paint the full picture of the middle-years of lifes journey.
