Colour & Calamity: An Anthology for Broken Hearts is a collection of eighty poems written by two best friends after having been through the trenches of love side-by-side. Don't be mistaken we're still there. We just believe that in writing this book we've grown. Our collection uses colours as its characters and a calamitous narrative style with multiple perspectives. The book covers experiences revolving around romance childhood friendships love loss and heartbreak. We believed that compiling these experiences into a poetry book was the perfect way to process these emotions and create meaningful work that represents our outlooks on navigating this complicated messy sad and beautiful world at the centre of which is love.
