Combating weapons smuggling

Relevance of this topic is caused by the current tense international situation in certain sections of the state border in addition the illegal nature of movement of weapons across the state border contributes to the increase of extremism (terrorism) destabilization of the situation in the regions increase in crime while the fight against this phenomenon is directly assigned to the federal security service especially to the border authorities. According to the Military Doctrine of the Russian Federation one of the main external military threats is the expansion of illegal arms trafficking including smuggling.
