About The Book

When I was seven years old, I earned my first dollar for doing a chore (see photo inset). I was allowed to spend half of the dollar on some great candy and saved the other half for the future. That was the best lollipop I have ever tasted! Since then, I have been intrigued with the concepts of business and money such that I enjoyed the family meetings my parents held for my brother and I teaching us the basics of personal finance for which I always dressed for the occasion (see photo insert). Now at the ripe old age of sixteen, I have been preparing for my goal of attending one of the nation¡¦s greatest business schools. For the past three years in high school, I have been elected class treasurer; and for the past three summers, I have attended youth business camps at Columbia University, Vanderbilt University, and most recently Rutgers University¡¦s BizED program for business-minded youth. After reading many business books, I wanted to write a quick-read book that was specifically aimed at teens and designed to reduce the adult complexity when trying to explain the basic components of business. There is much more to learn beyond this book; however, Common Anomaly makes it easier to read and comprehend basic business concepts without the typical confusion most newbies complain about with other finance books. www.CommonAnomalybook.com
