Communion of Saints in Context

<p>The communion of saints has been called a 'sleeping symbol' within Christian churches often overlooked and poorly understood. This is particularly true within the Protestant tradition which has too often uncritically rejected concepts and practices related to talking about 'the saints'. In this book Protestant scholars working in Asia and Oceania consider anew the tradition of recognising the community of saints by lifting up how it may be more effectively expressed in their local contexts.</p>
